Support Eva's Journey

Anyone who knows Eva Cooper knows that she was put on this earth to shine; a bright light, young and mighty, a young girl full of potential and resilience. 

Being born to two very hard working and loving parents and the youngest of 4 strong willed, very talented children Eva has had lots of wonderful role models to lead her on life's journey.  She will undoubtedly blaze her own path and has such a bright future.

Unfortunately about 5 weeks ago Eva hit an unexpected bump on her young journey.   It began as what appeared to be migraine headaches and has led to endless days of pain, several trips to the ER and a magnitude of intrusive tests that no 11 year old should have to endure.  She has been a true champion during her latest 2 week stay in two different hospitals with medical staff poking and prodding. Just yesterday it was discovered that Eva has a brain tumor. 

The prognosis is still unknown to the family who has been overwhelmed by the news. Eva's mom Heather Donnelly  has left her job and stayed round the clock to be Eva's champion while Eva's dad Jamie Cooper works hard to continue to financially provide for the family while commuting daily to spend as much time possible with Eva and his family at the hospital. 

Two of Eva's older siblings; Ben and Lexi will  graduate high school this month and begin to prepare for college but have made countless trips in to the hospital in between finals and graduation festivities to show their little sister support. Her brother Calvin (in high school) has been her comic relief during dark days and even her two dogs; Tukka and Kai have visited to provide her comfort. 

The Donnelly/Cooper family is preparing for an unknown road to Eva's recovery.  This is a family that truly stands together regardless of life's obstacles of which there have been many. The list of expenses grows daily; there are hospital co-pays, deductibles, medication, transportation expenses in and out of Boston, meals for the family, care for their 4 legged family while they are away from home and the list keeps growing.   

This Go Fund Me page has been created by friends of the Cooper and Donnelly families, to help them offset the increase in their everyday expenses and unforseen expenses as they continue to make Eva well.
