Friends, Family, and Kind-hearted Supporters,
Our family is coming to you to share the news that Dixie, a loving mother, wife, grandma, sister, and friend, recently received the devastating diagnosis of Grade IV Glioblastoma, an aggressive and malignant form of brain cancer. This news has completely turned her world - and ours - upside down. But true to her resilient spirit, Dixie is determined to fight this battle with courage and grace. Glioblastoma is not only a physically and emotionally taxing illness but also comes with significant financial burdens due to the costs of treatments, medications, and specialized care.
We are reaching out to friends, family, and community members to come together and support Dixie and her husband, Mick, during this challenging time. Your contributions will help cover:
Medical Expenses: Including surgeries, radiation, chemotherapy, and ongoing treatments.
Specialized Care: Ensuring Dixie has access to the best possible care and quality of life enhancements.
Living Expenses: Helping Dixie and her family manage day-to-day costs as they focus on her health and well-being.
Travel Costs: For treatments and clinical trials that require traveling to specialized medical facilities.
We aim to raise $100,000 to help alleviate the financial strain on Dixie and her family, allowing them to concentrate on extending her life to the greatest possible extent, preserving a high quality of life, and making precious memories together.
Donations can be made through our GoFundMe page or at First Federal Bank & Trust located on Coffeen Avenue in Sheridan WY under the name Dixie Johnson Benefit Account. No matter how small, every donation makes a significant difference and is deeply appreciated.
If you cannot contribute financially, your encouragement, prayers, and sharing of Dixie's story with others are equally valuable. Let’s rally around Dixie and show her the same love and support she has always given to us.
Thank you for your generosity, compassion, and continued support.
