Support Dawn's Healing Journey
Donation protected
Let’s come together and support Dawn during one of the toughest times in her life. Dawn has been a dog groomer since 1987, pouring her heart and soul into her work. Unfortunately, life has thrown her an unexpected challenge. She fell while in her garage at the end of January, and broke and dislocated her shoulder - specifically the humeral head and socket joint. She will be having surgery the first week of February. The recovery will be long. The doctor says she will not be able to groom dogs for about 3-4 months. Again, this has been been her livelihood and passion for over 30 years. Right now she’s facing not just physical pain, but the emotional strain of knowing that she can’t do the work she loves to make ends meet.
To make matters more challenging, Dawn has five senior pets ranging from a 13 year-old dog to a 20 year old cat. She makes sure they get needed vet care, meds, and quality food. These expenses can really add up. Dawn has a huge heart and is always there for pets and people. Now it's her who could really use some help. No amount is too small. Every bit helps, and together, we can make sure Dawn has the support she needs as she recovers and gets back on her feet. Let’s show her the love and kindness she’s given so many of us over the years. Thank you for being a part of this journey to help Dawn through this difficult time.
