Hi, my name is David Lugo and I have been diagnosed with colon cancer back in 2015, stage 4. I am 40 years old and I have a wife and 4 wonderful children (the first 2 are not biological, but I raised them since they were toddlers) and one that is in heaven.
When diagnosed with cancer at the age of 38, as many folks that has gone through this, we were very devastated. Not only was the cancer a thought hard to process, but also even more than this, I would constantly ask myself; what would become of my family?
Almost 2 years later I have fought this along my family the best way we could to beat this, however it seems that things are closing in to an end. The doctors don't give me more than a Month and as many would be, I'm very concerned, not only for my health, but what's to become of my family. Economy has been and is a hardship and bills are piling up quickly.
With your prayers most of all, and your contribution you would be blessing us dearly by helping with medical bills, house bills that are behind, and also prepare for the upcoming future of my health, i.e.: funeral and bereavement expenses to offset as these costs towards my family as much as possible.
As I mentioned there's not too much time. Even in my condition I push and argue with my loved ones on wanting to go back to work to provide as much as I can before my life is taken away. However this is humanly impossible for me.
It would mean so much to me knowing that people who are out there with huge hearts always open to contribute spiritually and financially has the opportunity to do so with so many cases would consider my case specifically. I understand that there are so many cases out there like mine, and I might say probably worse, but what can be worst than something ending someone's life, just waiting on the clock to run down. Overall I'm blessed even if someone takes the time to read this.
I am very grateful for your time and treasure. Any and every contribution counts and is as important as anyone else's. I trust that the Lord has all in his hands and will never forsake us. Whether in life or death, He is to be Glorified at all times!
Remember to hug your wife and kids as much as you can while you have the chance to do so. "Life is not measured by the number of breaths we take", but by the moments that take our breath away.
