Support Bonnie With Her Living Expenses

Hi. My name is Sarah. I am raising money for my sweet mom. She is 83 years old and essentially homeless. She lives in various motels and Airbnbs. Her name is Bonnie. She has a Ph.D. in Experimental Psychology and was a Psychologist who helped people for 40 years. She has worked hard her whole life. How did she get here? She met a man 22 years younger than her and married him and shortly after they were married he convinced her to sell her home that she had purchased with her separate property before the marriage. He told her she had to put the money from the sale of her home into a joint account or he would leave her. Feeling scared and threatened she complied and then he started to steal the money. He took everything. She has been homeless living in motels and has nothing left. She did not have any money left to pursue him legally in the divorce so she was left with nothing. She is in a wheelchair. She spends most of her days laying down in her motel room in a very deep depression. I feel overwhelmed by her pain and I am doing this fundraiser to hopefully find a way to help her. She lives on social security. I want to help my mom have a decent life again.
