I'm Laura Carnevali, founder of COCOON - a Bologna based collective of local and international creatives and a platform where dance, art and cinema come together to create a space available to everyone.

(ITA) Il nostro team comprende attualmente tre operatori di camera, un ingegnere del suono, una graphic designer/fotografa, una nail/make up artist, una project manager, un best boy/cheerleader e me come regista/scrittrice/ballerina. Insieme vogliamo addentrarci a fondo in questo settore in Italia - dove personalmente riteniamo che manchi di accessibilità - ma abbiamo lavorato e continueremo a lavorare duramente per cambiare questa situazione!

(ENG) Our team currently includes three cinematographers, a sound engineer, a graphic designer/photographer, a nail/makeup artist, a project manager, a best boy/cheerleader and myself a director/writer/dancer. Together we are working to navigate the "Dance Film World" in Italy - where we personally feel this sector lacks accessibility - but we have been and will keep working very hard to change this narrative!

A man awakes after a nightmare. The following 24 hours he is distracted by his intrusive thoughts, struck by an epiphany and finally dies, or does he?

(ITA) "SENTIRE FORTEMENTE" è un cortometraggio di 30 minuti che permette al pubblico di vivere 24 ore attraverso gli occhi del protagonista. Questo modo di assistere alla vita da un'altra prospettiva permette di riflettere... Ogni momento che vediamo può scatenare una reazione emotiva che porta a interrogarsi sulla propria sessualità.

(ENG) "SENTIRE FORTEMENTE" is a 30 minute short film allowing the audience to experience 24 hours through our protagonists eyes. This gateway of viewing life from anothers perspective permits space for reflection. Every passing moment may trigger an emotional reaction bringing forward ones questions on their own sexuality.
