2/16/16 Update: The doctors have told JJ that they will not be able to save his foot. They are planning to have an amputation procedure in the next few days. Please, now more than ever, keep sharing the word and let's show much we are willing to help him. 

One of the most loving and caring men I know, has sadly been affected by a very difficult situation. Early in January 2015, John James Sargent developed an infection in his foot. The doctors were temporarily able to treat the infection but it has recently come back with a vengeance. JJ has been in the hospital for the last few days, as he continues to fight to get stronger. 

To add to the difficulties, JJ's  financial situation has collapsed and is sadly very close to being homeless. He has began the process for applying for disability and even state assistance.  

JJ has always been one to help out others. He has had a major role in a local toy drive that has been going on for 7 years. He is always one of the first to respond when he sees a friend in need. He truly has a big heart and finds happiness in helping others.

JJ is not the type of person to ask for help, and I know that he feels that asking is a burden. Yet, many of his friends have come together as we want to lend a helping hand. I ask us to come together as a community to help a great man out when he needs it most.  Any donation will go directly to medical bills and helping him get back on his feet.
