In September 2012, I was diagnosed with an auto immune disease called IGA Nephropathy. This disease resulted in my kidneys failing and having to start dialysis in December 2012. As you could imagine, we were devastated by the news. Our hope to start a family had been put on hold because I needed a kidney.

We have been through a lot the past seven years. Through it all, we continued to love and support each other.... And... Praise God, he provides! After 7+ years of kidney failure,  on 10/24/2019, I received the gift of life... a kidney! 


Now I am on the road to recovery! During my immediate recovery, Jason and I will have to stay in San Diego near the hospital, in order to be close enough for all of our weekly checkups & appointments, etc.

We are asking for help with our financial recovery needs during our stay, such as our hotel and meal expenses.

We will need to stay in San Diego for at least 4-6 weeks.
