Grit is a bright and resilient little boy who has recently faced an unimaginable challenge. Over the past months, he began experiencing developmental delays, and after many unanswered questions, he was diagnosed with a brain tumor pressing on his brainstem. This has caused his speech to regress and made it difficult for him to walk. Grit turns 2 in June, and this diagnosis has been heartbreaking for those who care about him.

Thankfully, there is a plan in place. Grit will spend seven days in the hospital receiving steroids to prepare for surgery. The doctors will then carefully remove the tumor piece by piece, as it is located on the brain stem and requires a delicate approach. This journey will be challenging, and Grit will need the support of his mom, Jenny, every step of the way.

Donations to this fundraiser will help cover travel expenses and missed work for Jenny, Grit’s Mom whom works two jobs, allowing her to focus on supporting him through his hospital stay and surgery.
