My sister-in-law, Zulema Mendoza, came to the United States from Mexico with the hope of giving her two children a better life. She made the difficult decision to leave them in Mexico with their grandparents while she worked to build a future for them here. At the end of 2025, Zulema received the most devastating news a mother could hear: her two children were attacked, and while one is now in the hospital with serious injuries, the other tragically lost his life. Zulema is heartbroken, and our family is praying for strength and comfort during this unimaginable time.
We want to give Zulema's son a Christian burial, but the funeral costs and related expenses are more than our family can manage alone. We are reaching out to our community and anyone who feels moved to help, asking for support to cover these urgent costs. Your generosity will help us honor Zulema's son and provide the family with some peace as they grieve and heal.
Thank you from the bottom of our hearts to everyone who is willing to help Zulema and our family in this sad and difficult situation. May God bless you and multiply your kindness.
