Hi everyone,

As you may know, Tariq and I are cat parents of two! We started with Loki, a rescue at just three weeks old who we love dearly. By November 2024, we decided to adopt Zuko, who completed our family and was the perfect match for not just Loki but us. Zuko is a quirky introvert who loves bed-rotting, cuddles, playtime, hunting birds, and is a huge foodie.

Unfortunately, his being a foodie resulted in him eating something foreign and obstructive to his body. Within 3 days, he has become famished to the point of weight loss, experienced excessive vomiting, and the sparkle in his eye has started to fade due to the pain he is enduring. After multiple vet visits, it seems the only solution for Zuko is immediate emergency surgery or death.

On top of this news, we are facing the consequences of a tragic car accident that has resulted in us losing our primary vehicle. The combination of these two things at once has us emotionally exhausted and at a crossroads.

We can't imagine losing him, especially with how little time we've had with him and how much he has already impacted our lives. We kindly ask for anything possible to help us save Zuko's life. Anything helps. We understand this is our problem entirely, but if by any chance, if you're in the place to, we could use any help possible.
