ZUEZ CHARITY
TAKING BACK CHILDREN TO SCHOOL
INTRODUCTION
Zuez charity was founded in 2023 by a group of tiktokers who wished to make a change in uganda, this charity started on the platform of tiktok where help was taken from viewers, the genesis of this charity was to help people in need, people who needed food, healthcare, job support E.T.C , many people were helped and most of them can testify. But as the charities kept on coming and more people helping out the Zeus charity decided to take its work to poor communities and help more people and it started with taking back children to school.
THE PLAN AND GOAL.
As a charity of course our goal is to put smiles on sad faces and try to make as many people as we can get some basic needs and reach their full human rights. Some of the
human right we are focusing on right now is education, according to UNICEF, Uganda faces major challenges in providing quality and accessible basic education to children and adolescents. Today, around 4 out of 10 young children aged 3 to 5 years attend early childhood education, showing marked progress from 2011 that saw 2 out of 10 children enrolled. Similarly, 8 out of 10 children aged 6 to12 years attend primary school and more than 1 in 4 attend secondary school.
However, access remains inequitable: the secondary level enrollment of the richest 20 per cent of the population (43.1 per cent) is five times that of the poorest 20 per cent (8.2 per cent). In geographical terms, the highest Secondary Net Enrollment is seen in Kampala (52 per cent) and lowest in Acholi (7 per cent).
Child marriage, teenage pregnancy, abuse at schools and school fees keep many teens, especially girls, out of secondary schools. Costs associated with education account for 6 out of 10 people leaving school, and pregnancy accounts for 8 per cent of girls who left school. Similar
challenges remain in the quality of education: only about 50 per cent of the children in Primary 3 were proficient in literacy and numeracy in a 2018 survey conducted by the Government. ) AS Zuez charity we came to the aid of taking back children to school and we started with 30pupils.
WHERE WE NEED HELP
Zuez charity has 30 orphans and hoping to add on more among those children 2 are infected with HIV/AIDS and they would love to have good diet and having their medication in time , these children are living at Nazareth village , Kassanda district. They are studying at Nazareth primary school from baby class to primary seven. These children have no parents nor guardians so we need to help them with the following;
Books, clothes ,shoes, school uniforms, porridge, food in order for their education to move smoothly. Any assistance will be greatly appreciated and will change the life of these children.
