We, the children of our loving mother, Zoua Lee, have reached one of the lowest and most painful points of our lives. This past year, our mother fought through multiple illnesses with the same quiet strength and kindness she carried throughout her life. Near the end, we learned she had an aggressive cancer in her right lung, one that progressed far too quickly for treatment.

Despite everything, she was able to return home for her final weeks. The doctors prepared us for only a few days, but mom fought with every bit of love and life she had left. Because of her strength, we were blessed with one last Thanksgiving together, one final memory we will cherish for the rest of our lives.

In the early morning of November 30th, our beautiful mother took her last breath and ended her battle with cancer. Although she is no longer in pain, our hearts are shattered.
