Over 16 years ago on a beautiful Fall day, we opened Zoomies in the West Village in NYC. We have loved working hard to create our vibrant pet accessory store, filled with so much love and magic for our four-legged friends that live in the neighborhood and visit us from around the world.
We feel so grateful to have had a small business in the neighborhood for all these years and we could not have succeeded without all of you!
It is becoming clear with Covid-19 that this new norm of social distancing and staying at home could remain in place for months. We are bracing ourselves for the uncertain length of time that we will have to wait to open our doors for business as usual.
Like so many other West Village small businesses, Zoomies struggles with a devastating loss of business due to the pandemic. Many of our customers have suggested and encouraged us to open a Go Fund Me account so they can help, so we thought we would give it a try. We find ourselves in the humble position of having to reach out to all of you ... Our customers, friends and family locally and from around the world.
Any contribution will be so appreciated and helpful given the uncertainty of when business will resume as our new normal again. If you are not able to donate, we understand and please just spread the word for us. We want to be able to continue making every pets day extra special with visits to Zoomies!
We cannot express how much we appreciate all your support and love not only during this difficult time, but over the past 16 ½ years! While we adore all our 4-legged friends, we are so grateful for all their wonderful parents, friends and family who lovingly bring them to our store!
We will get thru this challenging time together and we will stay in touch with each other even if it is from 6 feet away!
