Hello,

My name is Diego Bardalez. My wife, Aury, and I are helping to raise money for my stepmother, Zoila Bardalez, who was recently diagnosed with ovarian cancer.

Zoila lives in Peru with my dad, Delfor, and my 12-year-old sister, Alba. She grew up in the Amazon area of Peru in a little town called Pucallpa. She is a kind and caring individual with a passion for helping others. She has worked many years as a medical assistant at a clinic by her house, helping those in her community. She recently finished her nursing degree and was so excited to begin working as a nurse when she received the heartbreaking news that she had ovarian cancer. Zoila, my dad, and my sister had to make a full family move across the country to Lima to be closer to a hospital suitable to treat her cancer.

With the sudden move and medical expenses that have accrued, they are facing financial hardships they were not prepared for. Please help our beloved Zoila fight her cancer, or as she once called it, "las bichitos" (the little bugs) inside.
