Hello!

My name is Zofia Sullivan, and I am currently a first-year student attending the Pennsylvania State University. While I haven't yet selected a major, I am interested in several possibilities, such as Anthropology (specifically, Human Ecology) and Geography!

I have created this GoFundMe to fundraise for a trip I wish to take through GIVE Volunteers, an organization that creates volunteer abroad opportunities. It is my dream to travel with GIVE to Thailand this summer, where I'll be integrated with the local communities and engage in a variety of once-in-a-lifetime experiences, including working with Asian elephants and teaching English to hill tribes. This opportunity is extremely special to me; traveling has always been a passion of mine, and visiting each of the seven continents is on my bucket list!

As I previously mentioned, anthropology is one of my main interests. I think the variety in human beings is so fascinating, and this trip would be vital to my understanding of ethnography. By experiencing different cultures and customs firsthand, I will deepen my understanding of the subject.

All in all, I believe this opportunity will serve to make me a more well-rounded, compassionate, and curious individual who embraces our differences.
