Zoey and I need your help. So far, the vet has quoted $1000. I do have pet insurance; however, as you’re probably aware, one has to pay upfront and then get reimbursed. I’m new to pet insurance, so I don’t know how much is covered. Zoey is between 10 and 12 years old. I adopted her from a kill shelter several years ago, so I don’t know her exact age. It appears she has gone blind in the last month. She’s not eating very well, and the vet is suggesting other diagnostics be done. They have quoted me $1000 for the following services or diagnostics.
