I'm Zoey Tremblay, a 15-year-old sophomore currently attending Randolph Union High School. I was fortunate enough to be nominated to attend the HOBY state-wide seminar, and because of this, I was also invited to attend HOBY's week-long World Leadership Conference at Loyola University-Lakeshore Campus in Chicago. This conference teaches confidence and leadership skills to students from different cultures and communities throughout the United States and 15+ countries. This seminar is an immersive experience that builds skills that our future lawyers, doctors, politicians, teachers, and more will use to become empathetic and level-headed leaders that have the potential to change the world.

I currently have a GPA of 3.96 on the 4.0 scale. Throughout my academic career, I've often focused on retaining as much information as possible to ensure my likelihood of succeeding in not only the college environment but the world outside of it. In my free time, I figure skate and enjoy volunteering. I recently volunteered to help the Rotary Club collect canned food and winter clothes for the local food shelf and helped place wreaths on veterans' graves at the Vermont Veterans Memorial Cemetery.

The cost to attend the World Leadership Conference from July 19-July 26, 2025, is approximately $2700. The registration fee is $200, the conference fee is $1,995, and the plane ticket would be around $500. I am currently working as a mother's helper for a neighboring family to raise some of the money, but would like some help in achieving the goal of becoming a future leader others can look up to. Any extra money that is left over I would like to donate to Vermont Veterans' Place.
