Hi friends and family,

I’m writing this as a mom who loves her daughter more than words can explain, and as someone who has watched her carry far more than any one person should have to.

If you know Zoey, you know she has always lived with an open heart. She’s adventurous and drawn to the kind of memories that stay with you long after they’re over. But just as deeply, she is kind. She loves fiercely. She feels everything. She is the one who shows up, who listens, who gives more than she has, and who instinctively takes care of others before herself.

She is not someone who asks for help easily. For most of her life, Zoey has been the person people lean on, as a mother, a friend, a guide, and a quiet source of steadiness. When things get hard, she pushes through. She adapts. She carries on.

Almost one year ago, Zoey experienced sudden vision loss and a neurological disconnect that took away her ability to see out of her right eye, as well as to drive. She has faced an overwhelming series of medical challenges. Between hospital visits, specialists, tests, and ongoing care, the bills stacked up quickly.

But damaged credit and overwhelming debt of over $50,000 in medical and survival-related debt has left her stuck, even as her spirit is ready to move forward. The constant pressure of it, combined with ongoing health challenges has made it incredibly difficult for her to heal fully, to plan for the future, or even to move through daily life without fear hanging overhead.

The financial stress alone is debilitating.

She wants to live again, not recklessly, not extravagantly, but fully. She wants to rebuild her independence, regain mobility, and once again create memories instead of worrying about bills.

That’s why I’m asking for help.

Every donation, no matter the size, helps lift a piece of this burden. It helps turn fear into possibility. It helps restore hope, dignity, and the chance for her and her daughter to begin making memories again.

If you’re unable to donate, sharing this or holding her in your thoughts means more than you know.

Thank you for reading. Thank you for caring. And thank you for helping my daughter find her way back into the world.

With gratitude,
A grateful mom
