We started this page for our close friends, Ellie and Chris Colvin, to help with the funeral costs and any additional expenses they will need in the coming days.

"Last night at 11:15 pm, our sweet Zoey passed away in our arms. She fought harder than we ever thought a tiny body could fight. For 25 days, she showed us strength, resilience, and even a little bit of humor. We think she found joy in confusing the medical staff. We held her close, told her how proud we are of her, and surrounded her with all our love as she fell asleep in our arms.

We are heartbroken, but we are also grateful. Grateful for every minute we had with her, grateful for the nurses and doctors who cared for her, and grateful for all of you who have prayed, supported, and loved our family so well during this time. We have been overwhelmed by how many people Zoey’s story has touched and the sheer amount of people that were cheering her on every day of her life.

Every day since Ellie’s water broke on September 21st has been a miracle. Even though Zoey’s time here was short, her life had meaning. And we know she touched so many people.
