Support Zoey's Book for Young IBD Warriors

Hi, everyone! We are raising funds to help our brave daughter Zoey publish her very own children’s book, Zoey and the Brave Belly Adventure: The True Story of a Kindergartener Living with Ulcerative Colitis.

Zoey was diagnosed with severe ulcerative colitis at just a few months ago at a very young age, and her journey has been filled with upcoming monthly IV infusions, medical challenges, and incredible courage. Reading the few children’s books available about inflammatory bowel disease (IBD) has helped Zoey immensely, but she noticed there aren’t many out there—and she wants to change that.

Her dream is to help other young kids facing IBD feel less scared and more prepared. Zoey’s book will share her personal story in a way that is uplifting, relatable, and educational. Through her story, she hopes to offer comfort and inspiration to other kids facing similar challenges.

We are seeking funds to cover the costs of self-publishing and hiring a professional illustrator to bring Zoey’s story to life. Your support will help us share Zoey and the Brave Belly Adventure with children and families who need it most.
