Zoey McVoy, a senior at Saint Andrew’s School, was recently involved in a devastating ski accident in Colorado that has left her fighting for her life. While skiing, Zoey suffered multiple serious injuries, including shattered ribs, a brain bleed, internal bleeding, and a ruptured spleen. She also sustained severe facial injuries, including fractures to her face and forehead that required surgical repair with titanium plates, as well as a shattered eye socket. Zoey has already undergone several surgeries and remains heavily sedated in the ICU as doctors work carefully to stabilize her condition and treat each injury.

Instead of enjoying the final months of her senior year—prom, graduation, and preparing for college—Zoey is now facing a long and difficult road to recovery. When she is strong enough to leave the hospital, she will likely require extensive rehabilitation, physical therapy, and continued medical care. There will also be significant costs associated with transporting her safely home from Colorado. Her family is now facing overwhelming medical and travel expenses during this incredibly difficult time.
