My name is Zoe Jane Gutierrez. I am currently fourteen years old, attending Middle College High School in San Bernardino, CA. I have been playing golf for the last four years with a program called Golf 61. I recently placed 2nd in the Drive portion of the JPGA Drive Chip & Putt Tournament. 

I have been preparing to attend college for as long as I can remember. It has always been a goal that I strive to attain. I started my first college class at San Bernardino Valley College. Very few fourteen-year-olds get to say that they started college this young. 

The profession that I am working towards being is a Geologist. I have wanted to pursue this since I was in the fourth grade.

This brings me to why I am overwhelmingly excited about the opportunity this program offers. I have researched the Oxbridge program and part of my journey will require me to take an Archaeology course, which this program offers. I believe that the knowledge and growth I will attain from the Oxbridge program is the chance of a lifetime for me. Places like Oxbridge will open up my mind and creative process to fuel my thoughts and passion toward the career I want to build.

I believe that I can be an asset to this program because I am intelligent, I am hardworking, and I have been dedicated to accomplishing my goal of going to college since a very young age.
