As many of you know, Zoe was diagnosed with an aggressive form of breast cancer in June. She has completed 16 rounds of chemotherapy. It’s been brutal at times exhausting, painful, and honestly pretty shit but she has faced it all with incredible strength, humour, and positivity, even on the hardest days.

The next stage is a big one: a double mastectomy with reconstruction. It’s an 8–12 hour surgery followed by a long recovery of around 6–8 weeks, and after that she’ll still need radiation.

The financial responsibilities don’t pause when you have cancer. Zoe hasn’t been able to work since her diagnosis and will continue to need time off while she recovers from this next stage. She’s also juggling bills, a mortgage, and caring for her two little sidekicks, her cats, Phoenix and Roo. We really need her to be able to focus on healing physically and emotionally, without added stress.
