Hello fellow cat lovers! It’s my birthday and I’m asking for donations to the Manx boys Zipper and Velcro!

Approximately 6 months ago I TNRd a site where these beautiful boys and their sister were. I took them to Animal Services to be fostered until ready for adoption. I ended up being their foster! Fast forward to a month or so ago, after the sister was adopted and these boys were also adopted, but returned due to incontinent issues. Manx, especially ‘Rumpies’ do often have incontinence.

These boys were in rough shape at Animal Services, so I pulled them before they ended up as ‘working cats’. I do not believe 4 month old, super sweet, tailless cats should be sent to a barn because they have some ‘potty issues’.

They turned out to be very sick, they had coccidia, UTIs, URIs, fleas and Zipper possibly had ringworm. It’s been a fight for them to get healthy! I am so blessed to have had medical backing for all of their tests and medications etc.

They are finally clear of everything, NO ringworm!, but the diarrhea is still something we’re working on.

These are the sweetest boys ever. Manx are amazing and unique cats, both in looks and personality. They are called the dogs of the cat world!

I am putting this fundraiser to help me help them further. They are ready to move into a much larger area, but they aren’t great jumpers. I’ve gotten a huge dog kennel for them to be in outside, during the day. I want to add cat towers etc, but they must be easy to clean/disinfect. That’s where Luxeypets comes in! Their ‘towers’ are $200-$300, plus tax and shipping etc.

Then there’s their special litter, and super extensive food.

I did not pull these boys to own as my own pets, I pulled them to save their lives. I will keep them safe and healthy until I find their forever family or a specialized rescue. I love these boys very much, I just don’t have the funds necessary for their next step… and that food, wow. All money donated will go toward the Manx. Once they move in from my care, I’ll happily share everything that’s theirs with their new person. If the kennel stays with me, I’m sure I’ll have other cats that will enjoy it eventually.
