In Loving Memory of Zion – Help Support His Family in Their Time of Grief

With broken hearts, we share the devastating news of Zion’s untimely passing due to senseless gun violence.

Zion was a brilliant light in our lives—curious, compassionate, and full of love. He was the kind of person who asked big questions, cared deeply for his family and friends, and brought joy to every room he entered. As a devoted son and a protective brother, Zion’s presence was a source of comfort and pride. He was multicultural, multilingual, and connected to many communities across different backgrounds, faiths, and ethnicities.

Thanks to the generosity of so many, we’ve raised $31,000 through GoFundMe. We are now continuing this effort to provide sustained financial support for Zion’s mother, Kentara, and his younger brother as they face life without him.

Kentara, a dedicated mental health professional who recently began practicing with her LCSW, is currently unable to return to work as she copes with this unimaginable loss.
