Support Zina and family through Michael’s passing
Donation protected
Michael Douglas Hartmann, age 60, passed away suddenly Tuesday, July 30, 2024. He was born October 12, 1963 in Yoakum to Elton “Pete” Hartmann and Lily Mae Richter.
Michael graduated from Yoakum High School in 1982. He married Zina Sofka and for the next 37 years they began an adventurous journey that brought him much love and happiness. Michael was “one of a kind” because you never knew what he would say next. He never met a stranger because he talked to everyone and they became his friend. He loved people and always made them feel important in life. In his spare time, he loved hunting, fishing, dancing, golfing, and spending any extra time with his family and friends. He loved his family with all his heart and could talk for hours about his kids and his precious grandchildren. He was a former member of Shiner Volunteer Fire Department and was always willing to lend a helping hand. Michael took pride in everything he did, especially those that needed it the most.
We were shocked by the sudden and unexpected loss of Mike. We want to allow Zina and the kids to grieve their loss without worrying about everyday expenses. Please donate what you can to help our dear friends during their difficult times.
With all of the emotional pain and stress that a death brings, it also brings financial burdens. We are trying to raise money for Zina to help with any costs that will incur and to help wherever needed.
