Support Zhenya's Dad in His Medical Battle

Hello! My name is Zhenya.

I am reaching out for help to everyone I know and even to strangers. Since 2010, I have been involved in charity work, helping children with cancer and families in need. I never thought I would find myself on the other side of this situation.

In early June, I learned that my father was feeling unwell. After examinations, a mass was found in his brain. I found the best neurosurgeon and arranged for my father to have surgery, as we couldn't wait. The surgeon suspected it might be a malignant tumor before and even after the operation. We waited seven days for the histology results. I prayed day and night for it to be a benign tumor. Fortunately, after the operation, we learned that it was an abscess, not cancer. However, two weeks after his discharge, my father's condition did not improve, and we sought help from private doctors, undergoing more tests and examinations.

Eventually, we received a new diagnosis: acquired heart defect and bacterial endocarditis. Initially, against the background of bacterial endocarditis, a pus capsule on the heart valve ruptured, damaging the valve and allowing pus to enter the brain, causing the abscess.

Now we are undergoing expensive treatment for bacterial endocarditis. After this treatment, surgery is planned to replace the mitral valve and install three stents. The total cost of the surgery and treatment will be around $25,000. We have raised some funds thanks to friends and relatives, but we still need $12,000.

Our family has already spent about $10,000 on the first operation, tests, and examinations, so we have no remaining funds.

Four years ago, I lost my mother to COVID-19, which was a huge blow to our family. Now I am trying to save my father, who believes there is a chance for recovery. We have been in hospitals for three months, and I am pleading for your help.
