Help Zeus Heal After a Life-Threatening Accident
On October 27, 2025, our beloved dog Zeus went missing. For more than a month, we searched tirelessly, never knowing what had happened to him. On November 29, 2025, Zeus was finally found—but our relief quickly turned to heartbreak when we learned he had been hit by a car early on during the time he was missing.
Because Zeus did not receive immediate medical care, his injuries worsened over time. He suffered a broken pelvis, which led to severe muscle atrophy in his left leg, leaving him in significant pain and unable to properly use it. Despite everything he has endured, Zeus continues to fight with incredible strength and resilience.
At this time, Zeus is being medically managed and closely monitored while awaiting an orthopedic surgical evaluation to determine the best course of treatment. He is currently prescribed Gabapentin, Carprofen, and Trazodone to help control pain, inflammation, and to keep him safely sedated in order to prevent further injury or additional damage while we await definitive surgical care.
There is a possibility that Zeus may need to undergo left leg amputation in order to relieve pain and give him the best chance at a comfortable, mobile life. The minimum cost of care is estimated at $8,000, and it may increase depending on the surgical treatment required, post-operative care, rehabilitation, and follow-up visits.
We are asking for help during this incredibly difficult time. Every donation—no matter the amount—will go directly toward Zeus’s medical care and recovery. If you’re unable to donate, sharing this fundraiser would mean the world to us.
Zeus is more than a dog—he is family. With your support, we are hopeful he can heal, adapt, and continue living a life filled with love and comfort. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for helping Zeus get a second chance. ❤️
