My poor baby Zeus ate a whole leftover container of chicken wings. He needs emergency surgery as soon as possible or I’m afraid he might not make it. The person responsible left the container outside on the ground (not sure why). I was made aware almost immediately. The next few days, I decided to monitor him closely to see if he was able to pass the chicken wings, but no luck. Over the next week, he started to become lethargic and just looked at me with sad eyes and became weak. He lost weight to the point where I could see his ribs. He just wasn’t himself, so I decided to call and figure out what I should do. They told me to bring him in, and they said it is critical that the bones that they could see are removed immediately. Now, I don’t know the details because my wife is more of the one who takes care of these things, but all I know is that Zeus is the sweetest dog. He is so friendly; he loves everybody. He’s my best friend, and he’s basically a human to me.
If anybody can help, my family would appreciate it, and Zeus will too. He’s only 2 1/2 years old.
