Hi, I’m Michaela and I’m Zeus’ mom. I would never have thought I’d be here, but life throws you the unexpected and sometimes you have no other choice than to ask for help.

Zeus is 4.5 years old. He is the sweetest, friendliest boy. He’s never had any issues aside from some allergies.

This weekend Zeus stopped eating and drinking and became extremely lethargic. As a concerned cat mom - knowing something was wrong with my baby - I took him to the nearest vet ER.

After some bloodwork it has been determined that Zeus has life-threatening anemia. However, the cause of this sudden diagnosis is unknown. It could be cancer or it could be a curable disease.

Zeus isn’t doing well. He has an elevated heart rate and breathing rate. The vet believes he should be hospitalized and under-go diagnostic testing. The estimated bill for that is 8-10k. It will determine his cause for anemia, detect if there’s cancer, and keep him stable while they try to figure out what’s wrong.

I’ve spent almost 2k already between the emergency visit and the tests, meds, and treatments they’ve given him.

I love my boy and I don’t want him to suffer. I want to know what we are dealing with. And the only way is through this diagnostic testing. Unfortunately, I just do not have the money to pay for this upfront and there is no payment plan option available.

Any help would be greatly appreciated, I don’t want to say goodbye to my baby- not without at least trying to save him.
