Help Zephyr Heal: A Fight for Our Son's Recovery

On April 25th, our world turned upside down. Our six-year-old son, Zephyr, developed a severe kidney infection that progressed rapidly into sepsis. In critical condition, he was airlifted to Oakland Children's Hospital, five grueling hours from our home.

The past month has been a blur. We haven't left Zephyr's side, putting our jobs and home life on hold. Thankfully, the incredible team at Oakland Children's Hospital saved our son's life. We almost lost him, but thanks to their expertise, Zephyr is now on the road to recovery.

The doctors have laid out a year-long recovery plan, and while we are incredibly grateful for their care, the financial strain is immense. Leaving our jobs to be with Zephyr has put us behind on everything. This GoFundMe aims to help our family get back on our feet.

Funds will be used for:

Medical Bills: Despite insurance, unforeseen medical costs can quickly add up.

Living Expenses: Being away from home for an extended period has created a financial strain.

Travel Costs: Regular visits to the hospital for Zephyr's ongoing treatment will require travel expenses.
