Support Zephryn during top surgery recovery

Hi everyone,

I’m reaching out to my community as I prepare for a major step in my journey — my top surgery is scheduled for June 13th. This is something I’ve worked toward for a long time, and I’m both excited and grateful to be at this point.

While I’m recovering, I’ll be off work for about six to eight weeks as my job is physically taxing. During that time, I’ll hopefully be receiving Employment Insurance (EI), which only covers a portion of my regular income — leaving me short on what I need to cover my basic bills and living costs.

On top of that, recovery comes with extra expenses like medical supplies, medication, transportation, and prepared meals while I heal. I’ve put together this fundraiser to help cover:

• The gap between EI and my regular income

• Recovery costs (meds, supplies, transportation)

• A small emergency buffer, in case of any delays or complications

The goal is $4,000, which will give me some breathing room and peace of mind while I focus on healing, without the stress of financial strain.
