This is Zelda she was diagnosed in July of 23 with high risk neuroblastoma. At that time they had high hopes of clearing the masses which until now had only been in her abdomen and pelvis. She will be 5 this summer if she makes it and has already gone through 5 rounds of chemotherapy, 1 round MIBG radiation, a major tumor resection, 2 rounds of protien therapy, 2 bone marrow transplants and 3 rounds of immunotherapy. They were notified yesterday that the masses were located in her skull. They did not give a lot of hope, but she follows up with another MRI next week. These were found during her month stay at the hospital mostly in ICU intubated. She just returned home this past Tuesday. The family is emotionally and financially stretched, dad has no more paid days off and mom is mostly at the hospital. Any little bit helps to support this family through this difficult time.
