Support Zeke's Recovery and Family's Resilience

Hello everyone, this is something that I hate to do so much. For the past 12 years since we fostered and adopted Zeke we have been in and out of Helen DeVos Children's hospital many times treating so many of his health issues related to him being a shaken baby survior. Typically Zeke is only hospitalized for a week at most but on

May 8th we brought Zeke in to the hospital after his oxygen levels plummeted. Usually this is due to a seizure or other illness that causes him to aspirate (inhale) his oral secretions or vomit into his lungs causing pneumonia. Funds recieved will be used to cover household bills, food and gas used for Chris driving up to the hospital daily

This past Wednesday aa we were getting ready to take Zeke to his primary care physician his oxygen levels plummeted for none of the normal reasons we have experienced over the past 12 years. He was rushed to Helen DeVos Children's hospital were they had to intubate him. This is the first time he has been intubated in our care. While Zeke has been making small steps to recovery we are looking at a very lengthy hospital stay and could use some financial support as i will not be working while he is in patient. Typically we can handle a week admission here and there but 3 weeks or more is going to be difficult. I stay in the hospital with Zeke while my wife Chris drives in nearly everyday while taking care of other household needs. Again I hate to ask for this kind of support and I know many of our friends are in similar situations but at this moment any little bit will help.
