Dear Animal Lovers and Supporters,At Mama's-Gona Rescue, our mission is to give every dog a second chance at a happy, healthy life. One year ago, we rescued Zeke, a charming 1-year-old Pomsky with a fluffy coat, sparkling eyes, and a heart full of love. After months of care, we were thrilled to place Zeke with a wonderful forever family who adores him. But now, Zeke and his new family need our help.Shortly after adoption, Zeke’s family discovered he has Patent Ductus Arteriosus (PDA), a serious congenital heart condition that requires urgent surgery. Without it, Zeke faces the risk of heart failure or a tragically shortened life. We’re launching this GoFundMe campaign to rally our community and ensure Zeke gets the life-saving care he deserves.

What is PDA?

PDA is a heart defect where a blood vessel fails to close properly, causing abnormal blood flow. The good news is that surgery can correct this condition, giving Zeke the chance to live a long, joyful life filled with playtime, cuddles, and tail wags. However, the procedure and associated care come with a hefty price tag.

Why We Need Your Support

Zeke’s surgery, diagnostics, medications, and follow-up care are estimated to cost $7,000-$9,000. While Zeke’s new family is devoted to him, this unexpected expense is overwhelming.
