Support Zee's Legal Battle Against Deportation

Zee, a beloved figure in the Southern California golf community, has been arrested by ICE. He is facing imminent deportation to a country yet to be determined. The purpose of this GoFundMe page is to raise money for his legal bills.

Zee Bulbul is originally from the city of Quetta in Pakistan. There is a long history of genocide, targeted violence, and persecution against the Hazara people (Zee's ethnic group) in Quetta. In 2003, he decided to flee his country due to the threat of violence. His journey to the United States was harrowing and worthy of a book or movie. He arrived in the United States in 2007 and applied for asylum. A judge ruled that his situation did not meet the conditions for asylum and granted him the lesser protection status of "withholding of removal." This protected Zee from being deported to Pakistan but did not allow for a pathway to a green card or citizenship.

During his 18 years in the United States, Zee has built many lasting relationships, including a marriage to his wife, Priscilla. Many of you may not be aware that Zee worked with the US Army, participating in simulated combat missions at the Marine Corps Air Ground Combat Center (MCAGCC) at Twentynine Palms, California. He has been a productive member of society and has never committed any crimes.

Zee is currently locked up in Adelanto Ice Processing Center-East, where he is being treated like a criminal. Hopefully, with your help, he can win his case and continue to live in the country that is now his home.
