Zaylia was born with 22q deletion syndrome. A disorder caused by a defect in chromosome 22.

DiGeorge syndrome is a chromosomal disorder that results in poor development of several body systems.

The syndrome can cause heart defects, poor immune system function, a cleft palate, and low levels of calcium in the blood.

There's no cure, but treatments can usually address critical health concerns.

Due to this, this 3 year old beautiful little girl has had to have 4 surgeries and is going to be undergoing her 5th surgery (open heart surgery) on 9/16/25.

I have been unemployed due to all the medical appointments that she has and her grandmother has had to take time off of work to drive us to OHSU in Portland. Her taking 7-10 days off of work is a huge financial strain. Me and my 3 children live with her and there are a lot of unpaid bills that we need help with. Anything helps at all and is much appreciated.
