Support ZaRyan's Basketball Journey
Donation protected
Hi everyone,
My name is ZaRyan, and I will graduate high school on May 17, 2025. I’m 17 years old, and while most of my classmates are figuring out their next steps, I’ve discovered mine—basketball!
Here’s the thing: I’m new to the game. I didn’t grow up playing basketball, and I only started taking it seriously in my senior year when I grew to be 6'10. But once I picked up that ball, everything changed. I fell in love with the game—the discipline, the team spirit, the grind. I may be starting late, but I believe in catching up through hard work, dedication, and faith in what’s possible.
I know the odds. I know the path to the NBA is tough. But I also know that passion, perseverance, and the right support can open doors.
That’s why I’m starting this GoFundMe—to raise money for:
Specialized training and coaching (private skills trainers, strength & conditioning programs)
Travel team and showcase fees (to gain exposure and experience)
Gear and equipment (shoes, recovery gear, training tools)
Support for living and travel expenses as I pursue post-grad prep school or JUCO basketball
My family supports me with everything they can, but this journey requires more. I’m not asking for a handout—I’m asking for a chance. A chance to grow, to train, to compete, and to prove that even a late start can lead to big dreams.
If you’ve ever had a dream that felt out of reach but chased it anyway—you understand where I’m coming from.
Every donation, every share, every word of encouragement means the world to me. You’re not just investing in a player—you’re investing in a young man who’s determined to put in the work and never give up.
Thank you for believing in me.
With gratitude,
ZaRyan W.
