Support Zaria’s Path: Education for Impact
Donation protected
Hello!
My name is Zaria Griffin. I’m a first-generation college graduate from Spelman College, where I earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a minor in Spanish. I am currently pursuing a Master of Science in Physiology from the University of Michigan, and as a Black woman in science and medicine, my journey has been shaped by resilience, purpose, and a deep commitment to improving health outcomes for underserved communities.
I’m working towards my dream of becoming a physician-scientist with a focus on public health, combining medicine, research, and health education to address the disparities that disproportionately impact marginalized populations. I aim to help shape equitable health policy, deliver culturally responsive care, and uplift the voices of communities often left unheard.
However, this path is not easy, especially financially. Your support will help cover tuition, housing, testing fees, travel for interviews, and essential academic resources on my journey to medical school and beyond. Any amount you give will directly support my education and lifelong mission to serve others through science and medicine.
Thank you for believing in me and investing in a future rooted in justice, care, and community.
With gratitude,
Zaria Griffin
