Recently, my daughter Zara was diagnosed with a rare cancerous brain tumor at 2 weeks of age. She's currently hospitalized in DC. She's now 6 weeks old. In the short time she's been there, she has already had numerous surgeries. Now, my baby girl is getting treated with chemotherapy as her only option for treatment due to how young she is and the doctors haven’t treated a baby so young. She has a long road of recovery ahead of her and will be staying at the hospital given how young she is and how far we are from DC. With that being said, it's been a really hard time on her dad and I and for our family as we have to tend to her 24/7 at the hospital. As a new mom, I never expected to be facing these challenges with my daughter, especially not so early. She was only home for 2 weeks before we discovered something wasn't right.

I'm not one to ask for much from people, but if any family or friends would like to contribute to Zara's treatment cost, anything would help and it would be greatly appreciated during this hard time.
