Support Zane's Battle Against Cancer

Hello everyone,

My family and I are reaching out to friends, family, and our community in the hope that we can come together to support Zane in his fight against cancer.

The start of 2025 has been a challenging and heartbreaking one for us. On January 8th, my dad, Zane, was diagnosed with stage 3 colorectal cancer after several months of worsening symptoms. He was rushed to the emergency room, where a series of tests confirmed the diagnosis. The cancer had spread to three lymph nodes in the affected area, making it stage 3, but fortunately, it has not spread elsewhere in his body. Zane has already begun preparing for treatment, which will include six months of chemotherapy and radiation to shrink the tumor and target the cancer cells before surgery to place a permanent colostomy bag. His doctors are optimistic that the treatment will go as planned and that he will beat this.

Throughout this ordeal, Zane has been enduring an immense amount of pain, which has left him unable to work. My incredible mom, Jorie, has been by his side every step of the way, providing care and support. However, she has her own health challenges that limit her to part-time work. With both of them unable to work full-time, they are understandably worried about how they will manage their daily expenses, bills, and the overwhelming costs of medical treatment.

My mom and dad are two of the hardest-working people I know, and this is the last thing they deserve. They are the kind of people who would drop everything to be by your side whenever you need them, offering endless love and support. Neither of them would ever ask for help if they didn’t truly need it. However, right now they need all the well wishes and support they can get so they can focus on treatment and recovery, without the added stress of financial worries.
