Dear friends, Zane and Lisa have been together for 13 years and recently achieved their dream of buying their first home. Sadly, that dream quickly turned into a nightmare. Shortly after moving in, they discovered mold in the basement.

A professional inspection revealed that the previous owner had concealed serious water damage and painted over mold, leaving them with unsafe living conditions and costly repairs. Right now, half of their home is unusable, and remediation has not yet begun. They are facing mounting expenses for repairs and legal fees, with no clear end in sight. As if that weren’t enough, Lisa recently learned she needs gallbladder surgery. Her procedure is scheduled for November 10th, and she will need time off work to recover. Between medical bills, lost income, and the unexpected costs of home remediation, Zane and Lisa are under tremendous financial strain.
