Yesterday, Zandra’s Culpeper experienced a devastating fire that forced the restaurant to close for the foreseeable future. This sudden event has left 20 dedicated staff members without work or income, and we are doing everything we can to support them as they navigate this unexpected challenge. Our team has always been the heart of Zandra’s Culpeper, and their well-being is our top priority.
The funds raised through this campaign will go directly toward providing two weeks of pay for our staff, helping them bridge the gap as they seek new employment or are relocated within the community. We are working to address the immediate needs of our team, knowing that assistance from insurance or other sources may take time to arrive. Every dollar will be used to supplement lost income, ensuring our team members have the support they need during this transition. For transparency, we are calculating each staff member’s average wage over the last 4–6 weeks to determine their weekly pay, so funds can be distributed evenly among those most affected.
