My son, Zander, recently had surgery to fix his kidneys. Unfortunately, the surgical site became infected, and the infection has now spread to his blood. We are currently admitted at the children's hospital, facing an uncertain length of stay and limited funds. As a parent, it's incredibly hard to watch your child go through so much, and the stress of not knowing how long we'll be here only adds to the worry.
