A “little brother” to many in the Breckenridge Distillery family, Zander Smith was more than a co-worker—he was a friend, a spark of energy, and a deeply loved part of our community. Our hearts are broken—shattered—by his sudden passing on July 15, 2025, following a tragic motorcycle accident. His loss has left an unfillable void in the lives of his family, friends, and everyone who had the joy of knowing him.

Zander was a force of nature—bold, kind, and full of life. He lived with passion and purpose, embracing every moment with intensity and heart. Whether riding through Colorado’s winding roads or sharing laughter with friends, Zander brought light and warmth wherever he went.

His unexpected passing is a painful reminder of how quickly life can change.
