Hey! My name is Zameriea Heath. I am a freshman at North Carolina Central University, studying fashion, apparel, and textile design. The reason behind me coming to college was to search for my identity, and I have truly started to find it through Christ. Growing up, before I came to college, I struggled with severe social anxiety. Since being in college, God has shown me and given me so many of the things I’ve prayed for — community, genuine friendships, slowly but surely growing out of my anxiety, and even some amazing opportunities.

I wanted to share one of those incredible opportunities with you. This summer, God has called me to be a part of something called City Project with Summit Church. City Project is a two-month, all-intensive discipleship and missionary experience.

Along with many other college students who are pursuing Christ, I will learn how to apply the Gospel to every aspect of our everyday lives and make disciples who make disciples. A disciple is a dedicated follower of Jesus Christ, and I truly believe I’m ready to take that next step in my faith.

During these 8 weeks, I will spend:

• 1 week in New York City

• 5 weeks in Wake Forest

• 2 weeks overseas in Japan

Throughout this time, I will receive ministry training and become equipped to share the Gospel with people from many different backgrounds around the world.

This is such an excellent opportunity to step deeper into God’s mission for my life. In order to go, I have to raise a total of $5,750 this summer, and I’m asking for your loving support to help me step into this journey of following the Lord and becoming a stronger disciple of Christ.
