The Hadza Fund received a request from Zainabu, the daughter of our manager in Tanzania, asking to help her pay for a three year vocational program to train as a clinical officer. While the Hadza Fund's mission is to support healthcare for the Hadza people, it is outside of our scope to help fund education expenses.
To help her pay for the annual cost of 3,154,000 shillings ($1,163 US per year) we are starting a GoFundMe. It is a three year program that we will help raise money for annually.
Here's more about Zainabu: (translated to English from her request to the Hadza Fund)
Zainabu is 21 years old, living in Tanzania and part of the Hadza community.
Her goal and her experience:
"My plans are to study medicine to join the Hadzabe community in ensuring better health for the people around us."
She wants to "ensure that the Hadzabe community gets all its necessary health needs, especially for pregnant mothers, children and the elderly, and being able to be served on time"
Zainabu has experience "serving some of the Hadza people who often come to our home after staying in the hospital".
Please donate what you can to help this extraordinary person help a community in need of her talents. Thank you!
