Support Zahleigha's Fight Against Noonan's Syndrome

Donation protected

Hello, my name is Sidney, a momma of three under three. I recently gave birth at 34 weeks on May 1, 2024, to a beautiful baby girl whose name is Zahleigha. During my pregnancy with her, there were some findings on ultrasound that started raising concern for myself that my high-risk OB-GYNs did not take seriously. When my daughter was born, she had a very unusual and loud heart murmur which an echocardiogram was done on her to see what was wrong. The cardiologist came in and told me that she had thickening of the left side of the heart (cardiomyopathy) and pulmonary stenosis. After many echos, labs, and genetic panels done, we were trying to figure out what was wrong with her heart. We were supposed to go home after 5 weeks from the NICU on June 2nd, 2024, but were told by cardiology that she would not be going home and needed to undergo a heart procedure to open her pulmonary valve. On June 5th, we received devastating news in regards to a genetic panel that came back... She has Noonan's syndrome (RIT1). Her procedure went very well, but she is still intubated and having difficulty coming off of the ventilator. The doctors are wanting to start an experimental chemo medication which may or may not help her symptoms of Noonan. They are also talking about open heart surgery, a heart transplant is on the table as well. If they decide to do open heart or transplant, they are going to be transferring as far out as Florida.

I am attempting to raise money for all medical expenses, traveling expenses, and possibly funeral expenses that may occur during this fight with Noonan's syndrome.

Anything is appreciated, even if it's just a prayer for my baby..
