Support Zac's Battle Against Brain Cancer
Donation protected
On August 14, 2024, Zac’s life drastically changed when he had a stroke.
After days in the hospital, filled with numerous tests including CAT scans and MRIs, it was determined that he had a cerebral AVM (arteriovenous malformation). Being the talented and dedicated photographer he is, his doctors agreed that he could get through the rest of his busy wedding season before having brain surgery.
On October 11th, Zac went in for the surgery. What should have been a one-and-done surgery followed by a couple of weeks of recovery, turned into something much more severe. The surgeon determined that Zac has brain cancer. Furthermore, Zac has glioblastoma which is very aggressive and fast-growing.
This news has been incredibly tough for his family, as well as his partner and close friends. However, if you know Zac, then you know he is still cracking jokes and maintaining his positive spirit that we have all come to love and admire. Zac wants nothing more than to watch his son grow up, and we want to do everything we can to make that happen for him.
As they face this challenging journey ahead, we are reaching out for support. Funds raised will go directly to his upcoming chemotherapy and radiation treatments, physical therapy, medications, and more as he does not currently have health insurance. We also ask that you please keep Zac and his loved ones in prayer. We are praying for his miracle and hope that you will join us in our pursuit.
The doctors say that most people survive 1-2 years, but new studies and advancements come out everyday…With that being said, we’re giving the middle finger to the glioblastoma odds.
